Open the **Investigation Types** panel from the right sidebar (`≡` icon).

* Set **Category** → `Person`
* Open the **Available Types** dropdown
* Select **`Person Search (discovery_person)`**

## **Step 3: Available Person Investigation Types:**

**Available Person Investigation Types:**

| Type                        | Internal Key                            |
| --------------------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| Person Search               | `discovery_person`                      |
| Mobile Number Search        | `discovery_mobile`                      |
| Behavior Analysis           | `Nexvision_Behavior_Analysis`           |
| Court Cases                 | `Nexvision_Court_Cases`                 |
| Investment Information      | `Nexvision_Investment_Info`             |
| Telecommunications Provider | `Nexvision_Telecommunications_Provider` |

## **Step 4: Enter Your Target**

After selecting **Person Search**, the search bar at the bottom will update to show the active investigation mode.

<figure><img src="/files/5M03Is2iWwwzxBOMjXu5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You'll see the prompt tag:

```
Investigate discovery_person target: [Enter target (e.g., Jane Smith, example.com)...]
```

**Enter your subject's name** in the input field. Examples:

* `John Anderson`
* `Maria Chen`
* `Robert Williams`

💡 **Tip:** For best results, use the person's full legal name or use location. Nicknames or aliases may return fewer results.

## **Step 5: Initiate Search**

Click the **Send** button (blue arrow `→`) or press `Enter` to submit your query.

The platform will display your query as a chat message:

```
Investigate discovery_person target: John Anderson
```

<figure><img src="/files/CKzHmEsmpuAyZ7tHie8g" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The AI agent will begin processing immediately, showing a **"Getting Results..."** loading indicator.

## **Step 6: Monitor Search Progress**

OSINT360 uses an asynchronous search system. Once initiated, you'll see the **Discovery Search Started** confirmation card:

<figure><img src="/files/tiVHpfBNwf2GbDlOuBP7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The card displays:

| Field         | Example Value                    |
| ------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Query**     | `John Anderson`                  |
| **Type**      | `Person`                         |
| **Search ID** | `a3f92b1c` *(unique per search)* |

⏳ The system is now searching the **Discovery database** and **open web sources**. This typically takes **10–30 seconds**. Click **"Check Results"** button when it appears to retrieve the latest data.

## **Step 7: Review Results**

Once results are ready, you'll see a structured results panel:

<figure><img src="/files/od6vzFrsjvkpqeekpj8d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Result Overview

The summary banner shows:

* ✅ Total records matched (e.g., **87 records matched**)
* 🌍 **Quick Breakdown** — geographic distribution of matches
* Confidence score per record (**Good / Moderate / Low**)

## **Step 8: Refine Your Search**

If there are too many results (e.g., 87+ records), OSINT360 will prompt you to **narrow down** using additional filters:

<figure><img src="/files/yNIWE032eNrlQfaif8GN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can refine by appending details to your search query:

| Filter Type        | Example Query                        |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------ |
| 🌍 **Country**     | `John Anderson in USA`               |
| 📞 **Phone**       | `John Anderson phone +1-555-0134`    |
| 🌐 **Nationality** | `John Anderson nationality Canadian` |
| 📅 **Birth Year**  | `John Anderson born 1985`            |

**Example refined queries:**

```
John Anderson in USA
John Anderson nationality British
John Anderson in Canada born 1990
```

Quick Breakdown Filters

The **Quick Breakdown** widget shows geographic distribution. Click any tag to instantly filter results:

```
Quick Breakdown (click to filter):
🌐 3 in US   🌐 2 in CA   🌐 1 in AU   🌐 1 in UK
📱 +1 5550134
```

## **Step 9: Analyze Open Web Intelligence**

OSINT360 also aggregates **open web data** alongside database results. This appears as a separate section titled **"Open Web Intelligence"**:

<figure><img src="/files/vgnq9EdAEgfYxU0bB7mQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This section provides:

* 📖 **Biography & Background** — Public biographical information
* 🏢 **Professional History** — Known companies and roles
* 🔗 **Social Connections** — Publicly documented relationships
* 📰 **News & Media Mentions** — Press coverage and articles
* 💰 **Business Interests** — Investments, companies founded

⏱️ Open web data may take a few extra seconds to compile. If you see **"Getting more open web data... Check again in a few seconds"**, simply wait and re-check.

## **Step 10: Export Your Repor**t

Once you've gathered the intelligence you need, export a full PDF report:

1. Click the **"Export PDF"** button in the top-right corner
2. A formatted report will be generated with all findings
3. The PDF includes: search metadata, all matched records, confidence scores, and open web intelligence

💡 **Pro Tip:** The chat history auto-saves. Use the **Chat History** sidebar to revisit previous investigations at any time.

## **Step 11: Run Additional Modules**

After completing a person search, OSINT360 surfaces a **"What's Next?"** panel suggesting follow-up investigation modules tailored to your subject.

<figure><img src="/files/hGdrzkcqep7fRo70W4fn" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The platform will prompt:

> 🎯 *"I can also run these modules for **\[Subject Name]**:*

Available Follow-Up Modules

| Module                                | What It Finds                                     |
| ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| ⚖️ **Court Cases & Legal Records** | Civil, criminal, and public court filings |
| 💰 **Investment & Financial Records** | Business investments, shareholdings, filings      |
| 💼 **LinkedIn** | Professional profile, work history, connections |
| 🐦 **Twitter / X**                    | Posts, followers, engagement, account history     |

| 🧠 **Behavior Analysis** | Pattern analysis, risk profiling, activity trends |

**How to Launch a Module**

1. Click any module button in the **"What's Next?"** panel
2. OSINT360 automatically runs that investigation against the same target
3. Results appear as a new message in the same chat thread
4. Each module costs approximately **\~1 credit**

💡 **Tip:** Start with **Sanctions Screening** for compliance-sensitive investigations, or **Court Cases** for due diligence workflows. Use **Behavior Analysis** last for a holistic risk summary.

🔄 Click **"Dismiss"** to close the panel without running additional modules. You can always re-run modules later by typing them directly in the chat (e.g., `run LinkedIn for John Anderson`).

Understanding Result Scores

Each result record has a **confidence score** indicating how closely it matches your query:

| Score Label     | Range     | Meaning                                                  |
| --------------- | --------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| 🟢 **Good**     | 80–100%   | High confidence match — strong identifier overlap        |
| 🟡 **Moderate** | 60–79%    | Partial match — name match, fewer supporting identifiers |
| 🔴 **Low**      | Below 60% | Weak match — may share name only                         |

**Quick Breakdown Filters**

The Quick Breakdown bar provides instant geographic and phone-number filters:

```
🌐 3 in US  →  Filter to USA results only
🌐 2 in CA  →  Filter to Canada results only
🌐 1 in AU  →  Filter to Australia results only
📱 +1 5550199  →  Filter by phone prefix
```

Clicking any chip **instantly filters** the displayed result list without running a new search.
